Lee Soon-jae

Lee Soon-jae is a renowned South Korean actor, celebrated for his extensive career that spans over six decades. Born on November 16, 1934, in what is now North Korea during the Japanese occupation, he moved to Seoul at the age of four. Lee made his acting debut in 1956 with the play "Beyond the Horizon," showcasing his talent early on. By 1961, he transitioned to television, appearing in KBS's inaugural drama, "Should I Become a Human Too." In 1964, Lee joined TBC (Dongyang Broadcasting Corporation) as a radio drama voice actor and television talent, further establishing his presence in the entertainment industry. His prolific career has earned him recognition, including the second-class Eungwan Order of Cultural Merit for his contributions to acting. Lee Soon-jae's legacy in South Korean cinema and television is marked by his versatility and dedication to the craft, making him a beloved figure in the hearts of many fans.
