Lee Ji-eun, widely recognized by her stage name IU, is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actress born on May 16, 1993. She made her television debut in 2011 with the series Dream High and has since garnered acclaim for her performances in popular dramas such as The Producers (2015), Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo (2016), My Mister (2018), and Hotel Del Luna (2019). In addition to her television work, she stars in the Netflix anthology series Persona (2019). Her most recent project is the 2021 film Dream.
