Hwang Jung-eum

Hwang Jung-eum is a prominent South Korean actress and former singer, born on December 25, 1984, in Gangdong-gu, Seoul. She began her career as a member of the girl group Sugar, debuting in 2002, but transitioned to acting in 2004 to pursue her passion for performance. Her early acting roles included appearances in dramas like "Lulu's Princess" (2005) and "Little Mom Scandal" (2008), though she did not gain significant attention until later in her career. Her breakthrough came in 2009 with her participation in the reality show "We Got Married," which helped her gain popularity. Shortly thereafter, she starred in the sitcom "High Kick Through the Roof," solidifying her status as a household name. Hwang has since taken on leading roles in hit dramas such as "Kill Me, Heal Me" (2015), "She Was Pretty" (2015), and "The Undateables" (2018), showcasing her versatility and dedication to her craft.
