Baek Ji-won

Baek Ji-won is a talented South Korean actress, born on April 30, 1973. She graduated from Kyung Hee University with a degree in Horticultural Science but found her true passion in acting. Baek made her debut in 1996 with the play "My Father Got Cancer," a moment made special as her father was present to witness her first performance. Despite growing up in a non-artistic family, Baek was inspired by a friend in high school who was involved in the drama club, prompting her to join despite her parents' disapproval of her pursuing drama in college. After graduation, she became a member of the Yeonwoo Theater Company, where she honed her craft. Her natural talent caught the attention of production teams, leading to her steady rise in both film and television. Baek Ji-won has gained recognition for her roles in popular television series such as "Once Again" (2020), "The Fiery Priest" (2019), and "Do You Like Brahms?" (2020). Her versatility is further showcased in dramas like "Encounter" (2018–19), "Racket Boys" (2021), and "Melancholia" (2021). With a career spanning over two decades, Baek continues to captivate audiences with her performances.
